The Championship playoffs involved Leeds United and several specials were operated to Cardiff, bringing the rare sight of seven class 47s at Leeds within an hour. First up was 1Z47 08.30 to Cardiff which was headed by immaculate 47 812, displaying D1916 as its running number - 21/5/06
